 The theatre’s esthetics were clean and beautiful. I loved the back drop to take pictures with the cast, it was decorated nicely. Concessions were great as well!

 We enjoyed it so very much .. thank u for the humor.. the foil hats.. and the entertainment tonight... 4 senior citizens had fun like we were kids again.... Can't wait for next season...

 Performance was very good and loved the interaction of audience.

 The band was quite good, and I liked their variety of music. The room was well suited to the crowd, except there were only a few chairs at first. Even people who dance a lot like to sit down between dances for a while; you need to plan on having plenty of chairs out for future similar events. The drinks and the food were a bit on the expensive side.

 The Piano Lesson was a profound exploration of fulfilling a bold legacy and reclaiming your self-worth through the use of humor and heart in equal measure. Under the masterful direction of Baptiste & Bullock, the time-honored text was brought to vibrant life due to the strong, multi-layered performances of the entire cast. As always, every single theatrical element worked in unison to deliver a production that was emotionally cathartic in the best way possible. Job well done!

 The Actors were astonishing. Very very good acting! Bravo! However, up front, yall said there would be stobe lights only…..however, this story was VERY racial. But the worst part was, it was the lousiest story ever. At the end, my Friend and I said, what? Didn’t understand. This story should be shelved FOREVER. Love love love you guys though. Y’all rock.  It was a beautiful experience with a phenomenal cast. I loved every minute of it. I laughed and felt a deep connection to every character involved in the story. It made me feel like I was apart of the story. I can't wait until the next story is told. 5 stars!

 The cast conveyed a deeper meaning of the play through humor and great rapport with one another. You could tell that they worked hard and the set was awesome! Shout out to whoever did the art on the piano— excellent job! I thoroughly enjoyed the play and look forward to attending more Slidell Little Theatre.

 Best Acting by an Ensemble, Best Director, and Best Producer/Asst. Director AWARDS go to August Wilson's The Piano Lesson! This was by far the best straight play I have seen at Slidell Little Theatre. For an all volunteer community playhouse, this performance was tremendously acted and directed. I still wish the music, lights, and scenery could be better produced...but the price of the ticket doesn't allow to hire professionals in those fields. Well done.

 I loved it. It was reasonably priced and the perfect Sunday afternoon outing.

 Fun Holiday show

 Very good

 It's fun seeing all the children perform and having fun. I liked the stage props and the costumes. I especially liked the head-dress of The Ghost of Christmas Present. We took a selfie with him to post on Facebook.

 Great performance!! My family and I truly enjoyed the experience. I am hoping to bring them again to a family friendly play. I have two young grandsons and they are in awe with the play experience.

 I was on the second row, but had trouble hearing some of the children, even some of the ones with microphones taped to their cheek! Otherwise, very well done.

 Such a great performance, and what a talented cast of local performers. There were s many children in the show, I went to see the show twice and these kids really put their hearts into the show. The singing was great and I left feeling the spirit of Christmas.

 Tom Jenkins was great! Isabella's voice was so touching! Great job to Scrooge. Only someone with lots of talent could pull that off in a few days notice!

 Was distracting Scrooge had to recite lines from a book, but you could tell she tried her best to stay in character. This was our first experience with Slidell little theater and we were disappointed to spend $70 for 2 of us to see a show where the main character was unprepared. We understand that unforeseen things happen, but would expect the main role to have been double casted or have an understudy for such an important role and especially $35 a ticket. Overall okay show.

 All were great; my grandniece was in all of them 😊

 This was a fantastic play- each and every actor from children to adults were wonderful singers! I applaud the lead actress who played Scrooge on short notice! She did a great job, wonderful voice. Tiny Tim was awesome, and also awesome were young Scrooge and his girlfriend. So many talented people in this very enjoyable play! Loved it!

 You tried-it was tough having to fill in for the main actor-

 Brilliant. Brought two players from a campaign I run and it brought us all to tears. It’s was exciting and being millennials, the calls out to the 90s… it was great. Thanks everyone!

 What an awesome production and show! The actors were phenomenal and allowed their heart and soul to create the characters. The young people in this production overshadowed any deficiency of scenery or lighting. This all volunteer playhouse definitely knows to include amazing actors in each production. The artifacts from the D&D world really added to the set during this show. Beautifully directed. Great Fight Choreography!

 I liked the premise of the show but the language was horrible.

 I had never heard of the play, so I had no idea what to expect. It was so fun, and yet moving at the same time. I literally laughed and cried at various moments during the production. And the soundtrack was amazing, as were the costumes and sets. Every actor involved in the production was perfect in their role, I truly could not have had a better experience. Highly recommend this show and Slidell Little Theatre.

 Show was amazing!!! Great cast, especially that cutie that played Miles. Fights were so good, the fairy pre-show was so fun and entertaining and brought the audience into the story. Great show!!!

 The cast and crew did a wonderful job. The sword fights were well executed, the comedic timing was spot on and the set was so very well thought out.

 What a great play, and so very well-acted. It was very emotional and they actors conveyed that perfectly - so much so that I definitely cried in several parts. Thanks for bringing this to the stage!

 A really interesting, creative set. The director really likes fight choreography. There was a fight added in between each scene that often undercut whatever emotional content was present. It actually detracted from the show and felt self-indulgent. That said, we left feeling like this was a really good community theatre show. And that shouldn't sound like damning with faint praise, it's a genuine compliment.

 I loved it! It was action packed, funny and moving all at the same time.

 The Hunchback of Notre Dame had a stellar cast. What this organization can do with only volunteers...it is extraordinary. The passion of the actors and their abilities were showcased in this musical. It was wonderful to watch the young actors express themselves with excitement for their craft. The scenery was magical as the volunteers work with what they have to make an incredible background for the show. The music was a bit overpowering for the voices. Lighting-well done.

 The actors (especially Quasimodo, Frollo, Esmerelda, the Captain, and Clopin) did a fantastic job and really gave it their all! The rest of the cast and ensemble were lively and full of energy as well. Passion is the best way to describe how everyone who participated in this show felt. The set was lovely too and quite creative for what I'm sure is a tight budget. The use of streamers and the moving stairs helped to set the scene for different moments and locations perfectly!

 The event was delightful, fun to watch for any age. We had an awesome experience and everyone was so talented, almost magical.

 I know from FB many of the actors on stage and they were amazing, but I’m truly disappointed on the direction of the show. I have directed this show twice when I lived in Florida and I was saddened and down right angered that the story wasn’t told with the writers intent. My friend who was with me was so lost at the end of the show they couldn’t describe the story and were like what did I just see. I felt like I was at church production not what I’ve seen

 This play was very distasteful. Parents beware of bringing your children. Some of the horrid scenes were not in the original playwright. Theaters allowing children in should have an age limit on maturity levels and not promote for children to view the show even if the guardians may allow it. What was shown in this show could be best described as public indecency. As an audience member, I was very disappointed.

 The words cannot adequately convey my sentiments regarding this location.

 The show was awesome! Not only did the youth have amazing voices but they also danced too. I can only imagine the hours that these youth and volunteers put into practicing for this performance! Loved the costumes and the backdrops also!

 What a fabulous performance from start to finish! The set, costumes and most of all the talent were all amazing! The kids projected, emoted, and were enthusiastic from beginning to end. Highly recommend this production.

 Sorry to say it was my least favorite show that I have ever been to. We left at intermission.

 THE CAST OF THIS SHOW! They are some of the most talented people I have ever seen. The amount of talent is so immense and it was such a joy to see it brought to the stage. I enjoyed working with so many people I call my friends and making new friends along the way

 Overall a fun show, but there were many technical problems, especially with mics being too quiet. There were also quite a few actors who were consistently missing cues, brought very little energy to their performance, were off beat, or couldn't carry a tune. For $35 a person, the show felt very amateur and could have used more rehearsal time and vocal training for the actors. The actors playing Kyle and Paulette were both fantastic, and the rest of the cast fell behind.

 I don't think this is a great play, but I thought the acting, singing, direction, choreography, etc. was admirable, especially for a run of only one week.

 The actors were engaged and looked like they were having fun. I performed Godspell in an outdoor theater in the 90’s, so it brought back memories. Quite nostalgic!

 I was not overly pleased with the performances and the singing. Only a couple of times did I find performances credible. I felt much of the singing was off key and often at unnecessary decibel levels. Overall, I felt the actor playing the doctor role(s) was most consistent and the actor playing Natalie provided more credibility than the other cast members. It is only because I am familiar with the play and its power that I decided to stay. I will still support SLT.

 The actors and staging were amazing. I had very little expectation going in not knowing much about the play and was blown away. My husband and I are still talking about it a day later.
