In Memoriam
The SLT community has lost many of it's own members, patrons, and friends throughout the years.
We wanted a way to recognize individuals who were part of the SLT Family.
It is an honor when family members request that donations be directed to SLT in lieu of flowers.
We certainly appreciate your remembering SLT during such a difficult time.
In Honor of Allen and Kathy Little
Allen and Kathy Little were beloved long time supporters of Slidell Little Theatre, elders of the SLT family.
We are saddened and heartbroken that we lost them both within the span of five months at the end of 2021.
Allen passed away on September 12 and Kathy left us to again be by Allen’s side on December 30.
There are not words enough to express how much Allen and Kathy did for our entire community;
and we are all blessed to have had them in our lives.
Rest in Peace Allen and Kathy! We will miss you!
Allen's obituary can be found here
Kathy's memorial may be found here
A memorial service for Kathy Little will be held on Thursday, January 6 from 5PM to 7PM
at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell.

In Honor of Kit McKellan
Kit ‘Kitten ‘ McClellen was an active member of SLT for over 50 years. She was not just a triple threat – actor, singer, dancer; but also a director and an incredible artist.
Always ready with a bright smile and a friendly word of advice, Kit was a constant sight around SLT.
She was a mega multi-Ginny award winner. She won several for leading actress, best director, best show, best set, and best poster art.
Award winning shows Kit either starred in, directed, set designed, or decorated include: Fiddler on the Roof, Guys and Dolls, You Can’t take it with You, Hello Dolly, Damn Yankees, Music Man, Brigadoon, Camelot, Secret Garden, Showboat, Brighton Beach Memoirs, The Importance of Being Ernest, Beauty and the Beast, Gypsy, Lil Abner, Mornings at Seven, Little Foxes, Pajama Game, and Oklahoma.
Kit’s favorite playwright was Neil Simon. She always said his scripts were the easiest to memorize because they were so beautifully written. She was willing to share her techniques and practices to all, especially in the area of set painting. She was an integral part of setting up the paint room when we moved into the current main stage theater.
Kitten, rest well. We love you and we will miss you.
